Red, White, Blue & I Do

In honor of my favorite holiday, Independence Day or the 4th of July, this week’s mani is red, white & blue. How patriotic of me, right? The I DO part comes in because, if you notice, there is a big, beautiful diamond on my finger. I’M ENGAGED! I am not going to rag on and on about it on here since you ladies are interested in fashion/beauty…but if you want to read about “Our Story,” then please head on over to my personal blog. I might be biased, but I’m pretty sure it’s the cutest love story of modern age. ;)

Anyway, if you can get past the beautiful, distracting ring…I have done a base of red nails in Big Apple Red by OPI, middle fingers done in Frostbite by China Glaze, and pointer finger done with Snow White by OPI and polka dots done with silver sparkly Jordanna nail art.

The OPI colors went on beautifully, of course. Then the Frostbite color was the worst to work with! It was fine until I put my top coat on. It was completely dry, then the top coat was removing the polish! ANNOYING. But the color is super pretty, so I didn’t give up on it. Finally made it work. I love this manicure
