Lorac Skinny Palette- Nude

IMG_6053

Like I don’t have enough neutral eyeshadow palettes, right? I know a billion other girls can relate. Between all 3 Naked palettes by Urban Decay, my customized MAC palette, Lorac Pro and my Maybelline The Nudes palette…I’ve got it pretty covered. So now, someone tell me WHY I can’t resist buying more!!!

I may never know why, but I do know that it keeps happening. Just a few weeks ago, I decided to stroll on in to the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I didn’t have the intention of buying this palette even though I knew it would be available. It didn’t stand out to me when I saw it online, but when I saw it in person I was IN LOVE.

The palette is small, but it has some really great staple colors that would make it perfect for travel. All the colors are extremely pigmented, even the lightest, highlight color. The third color in the palette is PERFECT for transitioning in the crease. It reminds me a lot of MAC’s Soft Brown. As you can see, the shimmery colors have amazing payoff too. All the colors are super buttery and creamy. They blend like a dream…I really have no complaints!

If you can get your hands on this palette, I would HIGHLY recommend.

Oh yeah, did I mention this wonderful baby was only $15!? Whew! I am planning on featuring some looks with this palette. I have worn it some already but failed to take pictures. When I get some done, I will be sure to link them back to this post as well.

Were any of you guys lucky enough to score this palette? Do you recommend it as highly as I do too?

  1. Thank you for the review! I’ve been hesitating between getting the Lorac palette or the Urban Decay Naked one… I think I’ll go with Lorac :) Oh, also, I was wondering if you’ve heard of Vain Pursuits? A lot of people have started mentioning them to me… They’re similar to Ipsy but for skincare?

    1. I’m a shimmer fan. I hardly do a matte look, even in the day….so this palette really appealed to me. It’s worth it if just for the soft brown shade and the copper! I have been asked about Vain Pursuits before but have not heard much about them. I will definitely look into it and see if I can snag some to review. Do you use their system?
