Happy PCOS Awareness Month!

I know I posted a snippet about PCOS this month in my PCOS Mani, but I thought I would go in a little deeper with some Symptom Synopsis today as well. Before I get into that, I really want to talk a bit about the sense of community that the PCOS ladies have…”Cysters” if you will. (The word Cysters honestly creeps me out a bit, but I get it.)

It’s so awesome that so many people bind together to promote PCOS Awareness! If we keep raising awareness, maybe a cure will be coming around soon! (A girl can hope, can’t she?)

Thinning Hair & Helpful Products

Of course we PCOS women have to deal with many, many ridiculous symptoms that like to strip us of our womanhood. Something people talk about A LOT is the hirsutism, or the make pattern hair growth on random body parts. Something we don’t hear about as often but is still upsetting is hair loss.

I don’t remember when my hair loss started, but I know that my hair doesn’t look anything like how full it was when I was a bit younger. My hair used to be really strong and voluminous and awesome. Now, I find myself crying in the shower when I pull the loose hairs from my hair.

Don’t get me wrong, I do not suffer very severely from hair loss. I know things could be a lot worse, but I have experienced significant loss and wanted to share the products I use daily to help me cope with the situation.

L’Oreal EverPure Volumizing Shampoo
L’Oreal EverPurse Moisturizing Conditioner
Eufora Beautifying Serum
Eufora Volume Fusion Spray
Eufora Illuminate Shine Mist
Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Dry Shampoo
Big Sexy Hair Powder Play

Again, this is just what works for me. You need to try a lot of things to figure out what works for YOU. I also only talked styling products, but I fully plan on writing/making a video on ways to enhance your hair/add to it and ways to style your hair to help reduce visibility of thinning.

I love you all and hope this helps, especially those ladies that requested I cover this topic!
