Saved by the Max – A Surreal Experience!

If you follow me on Instagram (and you should!) I am sure you saw my post about being in the full size pop up replica restaurant in Chicago for the ever-so-popular “The Max” from Saved by the Bell. Saved by the Max was AMAZING. From the moment I saw that it was even a “thing,” I knew I had to go! Luckily, I had already planned a trip to the Windy City with my friend Kelly, whom you’ve seen as a Fash Friend before.

We knew the whole trip that we wanted to go, but since they are booked up, we weren’t sure when we were going to get to go. We ended up randomly going after the longest day we had thus far. First, I had my Social Fabric conference that morning until about 6pm.

Then, we went to dinner and to see an improv show at the iO with my friend from college, Kira. We had a BLAST there, and Kelly and I knew we weren’t ready to go home, so we decided to swing by, hang out in line, and peep the awesome pop up.

If you were a Saved by the Bell fan, you should definitely try to make it to this recreation. From the excitement and nerdiness in the line (during our hour wait) to everyone geeking out inside, taking photos and singing out loud- it was a phenomenal experience. It was well worth the wait, I promise you!
