When I saw the PR email that Lane Bryant was coming out with new, Super Stretch Skinny Jeans, I was ecstatic. I am a skinny jean lover, and admittedly, had never found a pair of jeans I love at Lane Bryant. I’ve found love with a certain competitor’s jeggings, but have still been searching for a classier option and wash. When these jeans arrived in my mailbox (c/o Lane Bryant) and I unpacked them, I could tell just by holding them up that I would love them.

It’s important to note that I am forever shrinking, so it’s hard to tell my true size right now. I am floating around a 16/18 from what I can tell, but I have some 20’s that are still fitting (although on the baggy side.) I ordered these in an 18S. They come in Short, Regular, Long, and Petite, which is AWESOME. This wash didn’t offer petite, but I think when I go to the store, I may try out petite to see how they fit.

This 18S seems like it is a bit large from what I can tell. They also weren’t skinny fitting on my legs. They fit more like a “girlfriend” jean, which isn’t a problem for me. My legs are pretty small compared to my midsection, so it happens often. Another thing to note is that the short jeans needed rolled up on me to go to my ankle. I gathered them on the inside to taper them in because they were large around my ankle.

Regardless of all that mumbo-jumbo and the fact that I would size down or opt for petite, I love the jeans. They are SUPER comfortable, have great stretch, and the wash is great!! Another pro is that they fit comfortably on my apple shape. Jeans for ladies with larger midsections can be tough, so I call these a win!
