    New: Revlon ColorBurst Balms

    11/20/2013 /

Just when you guys didn’t think I could review or show you any more lip stuff, here comes more! (And I have a ton more to show you soon as well!) At the same time I saw the Maybelline Elixirs, I saw these ColorBurst Balms in Matte and Lacquer. In the Matte Balm, I got the color Elusive. I thought it was a pretty color and was something I could wear daily. On my lips, it does show up a bit more of a poppy pink than I thought it would, but it’s very pretty. It applies beautifully and doesn’t tug at my lips like some matte products tend…

Review: Naked 2 by Urban Decay

    11/18/2013 /

It only makes sense that by the time I actually get around to purchasing the Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay that they would come out with a Naked 3. I am SUCH a fan of the original Naked palette that I didn’t see the use in getting the 2nd until I was really ready to experience more colors that were essentially the sister of the one I loved so dearly. So I got a few other brands in the mean time, but when the Sephora VIB Sale came around this year, I decided to go for it! The colors are swatched in the order of the palette. A…

    Elixir ColorSensational by Maybelline

    11/12/2013 /

If I had to choose one drugstore makeup brand…heck…ANY makeup brand to buy for the rest of my life, I would choose Maybelline. I feel like they have a solid face game with their Fit Me and their Instant Age Rewind Foundation & Concealers. Their mascaras are great! Falsies and Illegal Lengths are both so good. They have amazing eyeshadow palettes and espeicially their Color Tattoo eyeshadows. (Bad to the Bronze = ALL TIME FAVORITE.) Their ColorShow nail polish is reasonably priced and actually really good! I have found that their Color Whispers and Vivids have done a great job as far as their lipsticks have gone, but all they were…

    Rockateur Blush by Benefit Cosmetics

    11/11/2013 /

Benefit Cosmetics is famous for their gorgeous, pinup-esque packaging and marketing, with one of their most iconic products being their boxed blushes. I had never been compelled to buy a full sized one because I just felt like there were other blushes that would be more worth my money, even if it weren’t true. I did buy the Coral My World set that includes a mini Coralista blush and a mini Sun Beam. I mean, you guys know how I feel about mini products! Rockateur changed my mind, finally. It’s a pretty, luminous sandy pink/peachy color. It looks sparkly in the box, but it doesn’t show up on the skin…
