Ground Beef Burrito Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Laura's Lean Ground Beef
  • 2 T Taco Seasoning Or one packet
  • 1/4 c Water
  • 1 can Chili Beans
  • 8-10 Small Tortilla Shells (Flour or Corn) You need enough to cover the bottom of your container, then cover the mixture on the top
  • 1 jar Salsa 16 oz
  • 2 c Shredded Cheese Any variety works, we like Cheddar or Colby Jack

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef
  • Add taco seasoning & water, cook for 1-2 min
  • Add chili beans
  • Spray 9X13 pan with cooking spray, line bottom with half of the tortillas (to cover bottom)
  • Add in taco meat/bean mixture.
  • Top with remaining tortillas
  • Add jar of salsa and spread
  • Finish with shredded cheese
  • Cook covered for 30 min, then uncover for the last 10 min

Notes

When making to freeze, all instructions are the same. Thaw in refrigerator overnight, then cooking instructions are the same.
