Curvy Girl Workout Gear: Major Sweat Sesh

Get It Girl Plus Size Workout Gear Running

Get it girl. You’re working out, you have a routine (or you’re trying to get a routine, if you’re anything at all like me.) Just get it. If you can’t run yet, but are working toward upping your pace. If you’re only able to go for 5 minutes before taking a break…that’s 5 minutes longer than you would go if you never tried. Just get it girl.

This outfit is meant for one of those sweaty, not going to care what you look like at the end of your workout days. If you’re running outside or on a treadmill, on the elliptical, or the bike, even lifting weights, and can’t help but look like a sweaty mess, then this is the perfect outfit for you. You can always load on layers over top and strip them off when you start to get all sweaty! The GET IT GIRL t-shirt gets me hype every time I wear it.

  • Shirt- Old Navy Active (Similar)
    • (Wearing XXL) LOVE this pullover. It’s very comfortable, keeps you warm (but not too warm,) and the color is awesome. They have a few more (all of which I want!) I ordered this in 3X and honestly, it’s a little large, but comfortably large. (If you can’t tell, “comfortably too big” is kind of my thing.) I definitely could have gone for a 2X, but since you have to purchase Old Navy Plus online ONLY- I really didn’t want to do the whole exchange thing. It’s exhausting to me.
  • Capris- Saucony Running Shorts (Similar)
    • (Wearing Men’s XL) I’ve had these for a pretty long time now. I got them at TJ Maxx a few years back. They are men’s…and as far as running shorts go, I think men’s are pretty comfortable and look nice for plus ladies! My biggest issue with many, many pair of shorts is that they are TOO LONG. I had shapely, muscular legs, so I am never really concerned with covering them up. Much of the Plus Women’s shorts are too long for my liking. I really enjoy the length of these.
  • Shoes- Nike Free 5.0 V4
    • (Wearing 7) I bought these babies to wear in London and fell in love completely. These are my second most-worn pair of shoes. They ignited the love I have for Nike Frees. (It’s a huge love, guys!) They sell them in stores now, so get them while they are still in stock! (They have gone out and back into stock since I got them around a year ago.)
