Today, October 12th, is World Arthritis Day. Arthritis and joint pain are both important for me to talk about, because my husband and I are both young sufferers! I have Arthritis in my right hand and arm, and he suffers joint pain in his knees and back. It’s not fun to say the least, and we would hate to miss out on things other people our age get to partake in!

With the help of Advil EZ Open, we are able to continue to enjoy our lives, even through the pain. Nothing is proven stronger on Arthritis or other joint pain, which is why so many doctors recommend it!* If you look on the packaging, they have an EZ open cap available for all the different forms of Advil they carry. I prefer the Liqui-gels, but you can choose whichever you prefer!

My husband and I are able to say YES, and not focus on things that could be holding us back. It’s an awesome, liberating feeling. One of our favorite ways to live life to the fullest is to take weekend trips. He’s my favorite road trip partner, and I am almost certain I’m his as well. We have so much fun taking adventures all over the Midwest! We live in Indiana, so there are plenty of great spots around us to travel to, but we do try to make sure the place checks off this criteria:

  • Within 3 hour drive
  • Has safe suburbs with cheap (under $70) hotels
  • Has some sort of a large draw
    • Casino
    • Outlet Mall
    • Family
    • Live shows
    • Good food

Once we decide we are going, we check the weather, and get to packing! I’ve made a helpful chart of what to pack, so take a look and use it as a guide! We always seem to be doing this last minute, so there are a few things I always keep together to quickly grab. We should keep a bag in our cars fully loaded, that’s how often these fun little trips seem to come up!

On our way out of town, we may have to swing by a store to pick up some road trip snacks or last minute toiletries. Usually we stop at Walmart, because it’s a one stop shop. PLUS, they carry the Advil EZ Open, and it’s a must have for any trip we set out on.

How do you get ready for a weekend getaway?

*For minor arthritis pain. Among OTC pain relievers. Based on a survey of monthly doctor recommendations.
