I’m sure you all remember that I’m trying to lose weight. How could you forget!? It’s been mentioned in like, everything I’ve posted this year! I’m sure you remember my before/after picture posted right after I started where I “lost” 30 lbs or something crazy. I don’t remember if I ever let you know…that I didn’t lose that much. My scale was broken! On the flip side, by that time, I DID lose about 15 lbs. That’s actually a GOOD thing, because I was scared at the rate I lost and terrified I would put the weight back on as quickly as it came off.

Weight Loss Update

A couple days ago, I posted a pic on my Instagram of a before picture from November and an after picture from the beginning of March. I have lost 24.6 lbs (I like to round up to 25!) this year total. I couldn’t be happier with my success and I only want to keep going and lose more!

With that being said, I know what needs to happen. I need to swap my simple carbs in for complex ones. I need to lay off the sugary foods just a bit more and swap them out for some fruit (a NATURAL sugar) and drink more water than I have been! Besides the change in diet, I need to make SURE I am exercising at least 3 times per week, preferably 5!

My newest goal: Lose 20 more lbs by May 1st for a total lost of 45 lbs! Still a long way to go, but I am getting there!!!
