VSG Surgery Date Announcement & Pre-Op Diet (Video)

February 8th, 2017. 3 days. Holy cow! I’m having my Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG) surgery on Wednesday, and I’m like…freaking out. Not in a bad way, but in a kid on Christmas Eve way. It’s consuming my thoughts.

If you didn’t know, I am keeping a video style recollection of the surgery, so you will definitely see more information about the surgery and be updated often. Right now, it’s going to be heavy on them, but I promise within a few months it will regulate and just be part of the rotation of lifestyle things I post about on my blog! I hope you enjoy the updates, but I have to be honest. I am keeping this video diary for me! I want to have the recollection, see myself in action, and measure how far I’ve come!

The video below really outlines my pre-op experience, from the diet to the appointments. There are a LOT of appointments right before a surgery. I had no idea. I had an appointment each day this week. To make matters even more annoying….I have to drive an hour to get to my surgeon’s office and the hospital. So it’s been all-consuming at this point. Luckily, I don’t have to worry about scheduling around a 9-5 job. I can’t even imagine!

So now, you can watch the video below to see how I’m feeling, how the appointments went, and all the products I’ve been using pre-op! If you hear about a product you want to know more about, there is a list below with links to them along with my current stats!

    1. I am doing really well, thank you for asking! The surgery went VERY smoothly, and now I am home, healing. Still pretty sore…feeling strange, but things are good. :)
