When you think of a Little Black Dress AKA LBD, what do you usually think of? A slinky, sexy dress for a night out? Well, joke’s on you, because I don’t have nights out! I am lucky to make it out to go to McDonald’s for a hot fudge sundae! But I do have normal days, and I am calling for a RE-DO of the mindset that a LBD has to be for special occasions where you want to look sexy.
My version of an LBD is just something that’s comfortable, cute, and can be an easy, everyday go-to. I am calling for everyone to try out this AMAZING dress by Eileen Fisher. I saw this gem whilst shopping the Nordstrom sale with my gal-pal, Kelli. She knew I loved it, but the price tag was holding me back! I went back and looked at it ANOTHER time that day as well.
I ended up going back to peep this dress a few more times before throwing in the towel and making the purchase, and I do not regret it at all. I really think that it was the perfect fit for my wardrobe, and while it was an investment, it was also a major win for me! I am wearing this thing once or more times per week!
I paired this dress with my Vince. t-shirt that I wore in my last outfit post. I told you all you would be seeing much more of it! I think it’s a fun look heading into fall, and I can tell you….you’ll see the shirt again, I promise!
My accessories are simple and tan. This little nude cross body has been worn non-stop for the last few weeks, and these fun sandals are something I’ve had on my feet often this summer. I think they are both simple and sweet!
