Last weekend, Brett and I made a 4 hour trip to attend his sister’s wedding reception. It was a beautiful day and she had it in a big barn-like structure. It was pot-luck style and decorated with beautiful fresh flowers. After we left the reception, we headed to the car for 5 hours this time to make it to my little brother’s 21st birthday bonfire. I definitely needed my outfit to be cute, but mostly comfy for this long, all-day road trip. The pants are stretchy at the top, so they were comfy! It’s cold again in Indiana. I walked outside this morning to 4 degree weather. My snot was freezing inside my nose! Just..not cool. I bundled up and wore my favorite boots meant for keeping the wet out…tried my best at staying warm! Plus Size OOTD / Outfit of the Day: Shirt- Old Navy thermal Leggings- Forever 21 Vest- Old Navy Boots- Hunter Brixen These boots are my absolute FAVE. So WHY, if society already pre-determines plus sizes for us, does the fashion industry decide that anything smaller than a size 12/14 is plus size!? It’s not, and there are 2 major problems I…

The theme seems to be New Years, but the tones are drastically different. There are the optimistic people making plans and goals for 2014. There are the “anti-resolutionists” who are just pretty much trying to bum everyone who is trying out by saying how their year will suck just like last year. And then there is my LEAST favorite…the super negative nancies who are just saying things like “I’m SO SICK of New Years statuses!” I’m sorry?…
