English-Inspired Bridal Shower

This weekend, my Maid of Honor and my “Sister of Honor” (which is a new term coined by me specifically for my big day) threw me a beautiful bridal shower. My closest ladies got together to enjoy time together to celebrate my pending nuptials. (We get married in 40 days, by the way!)

My necklace is from Target, FYI!

Food, Bride & GroomMicole (SOH) did this whole beautiful spread of food and all I can say is WOW. She really captured the essence of the type of party she knew I would like to have and executed it perfectly. The spread included 2 large cakes, some chicken salad sandwiches on croissants, fruits & vegetables complete with dips, and cookies! I mean, just look at the pictures! They show it all. It’s one seriously impressive set-up.

Wedding Shower GiftsMelinda (MOH) (and her AMAZING helper Stephanie) did an awesome job at setting up the buffet with pretty little shower gifts in tea cups and sprucing up my home with flowers. For the cups, they used vintage white and gold tea cups, filled them with some paper grass filler, and added a bag of tea and a lot of chocolate, which is my perfect combination!

We played games, they gave us date suggestions, we all got to hang out, eat a ton, and then I got some really great gifts…including FIVE Crock Pots. I’m ready for some pot-luck dinners, that’s for sure! Overall, I had a marvelous time and I can’t thank these girls enough for their time and effort that went into the planning and execution.

Of course, after everyone left, I had some cuddle time with both of their babies! Teagan and Rhealynn are 2 months apart and both gorgeous like their mamas! If only Mell’s Coralline would have been there…I could have been covered in my little loves! And usually, I would crop out pics that accentuate my double chin and fat rolls, but….I couldn’t help it with this one!

I hope you liked this post! If you did, I can post more wedding bits as well. I’m bursting at the seams to share all the details with you!
